Full Time Maintenance
Overview:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of a manufactured housing/marina community to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Lead Maintenance and the Property Manager.
Position Responsibilities (If applicable):
• Mowing of all common areas
• Weed eating all areas of the park as needed
• Maintain exterior of all buildings, common areas, shrubs, flower beds, recreational facilities, etc. on a routine basis
• Spray, fertilize & herbicide application as needed
• Repair of water & sewer lines as needed
• Trimming and/or removal of trees within the park as needed
• Occasional inside building maintenance/cleaning as assigned
• Perform preventative maintenance of all equipment on a routine basis
• Perform preventative maintenance of Marina area and equipment
• Maintaining Marina boat storage
• Work with other maintenance staff to pick up weekly trash in the community
• Keep vehicles, shop, and all other work areas clean
• Assist boaters with boat drops/lifts at Marina
• Working alongside office staff to complete additional property maintenance work
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned
Position Requirements:
• Boat Lift Certification (preferred)
• Boat Lift/Marina Experience (preferred)
• Able to work with a maintenance team
• Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Great time management skills.
• Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 30lbs
Working Hours
This position is a full-time position with a work schedule for 8 hours a day/40 hours per week, normally Monday through Friday. This position is an hourly position that may be subject to overtime.
