The main function of the Director of Home Construction position is to manage all manufactured housing construction and refurb projects from scope creation, through physical completion while ensuring the projects are completed on time, in line with the scope and within budget.

In this role you will:

• Manage all aspects of manufactured home construction projects from creating in-house estimates, reviewing/awarding contracts, invoice processing and construction management.
• Visit properties to ensure proper execution of contracts and manufactured home refurbs and new home setup projects.
• Ensure the bidding process and contracting is consistent with requirements per our partnership/management company agreements.
• Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed and manufactured home construction projects are completed on time, correctly and within budget.
• Monitor and ensure project costs are within budget and prepare budget variance reporting as required.
• Manage vendors/trades/contractors to ensure their work is completed according to contract terms/specs, timely and within budget.
• Work with other departments and team members to ensure common goals are aligned.
• Manage assigned manufactured home refurb and new home construction projects.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate timely with vendors and contractors on bids and construction projects.
• All other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications / Skills/ Abilities

• Degree in construction management preferred
• At least three (3) years in construction or project management
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
