Home Project Manager

The Main function of the Home Project Manager position is to manage new and used manufactured home setup and refurb projects from scope creation, managing contractors through physical completion while ensuring the homes are completed on time, in line with the scope and within budget.

In this role you will:

• Manage all aspects of manufactured housing construction projects from creating in-house estimates, reviewing quotes and estimates, creating contracts, invoice processing and home site prep/setup management. 

• Site visit to ensure proper execution of contracts and projects.

• Ensure the bidding process and contracting is consistent with requirements per our partnership/management company agreements.

• Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed and home construction projects are completed on time, correctly and within budget.

• Monitor and ensure project costs are within budget and prepare budget variance reporting as required.

• Manage vendors/trades/contractors to ensure their work is completed according to contract terms/specs, timely and within budget.

• Work with other departments and team members to ensure common goals are aligned.

• Maintain and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards as well as state and local guidelines and laws.

• Communicate timely with vendors and contractors on bids and home construction projects.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications / Skills/ Abilities

• Degree in construction management is preferred.

• At least three (3) years in home building construction management or manufactured housing construction management.

• Efficiently operates assigned computer software and other equipment, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Must have valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.

Work Environment

• This position is onsite and will require 60% to 80% travel.
